ABSOLUTION
Absolution is a psychological thriller that depicts a man named Robert, who lives a life filled with regret. He seeks to rekindle his relationship with his estranged daughter Shannon. Unable to truly let go of his past, Robert must come face-to-face with his guilty conscience in order to move on and salvage his relationship.

A young female educator and artist uproots her life to Saudi Arabia, where she teaches at an all-female university. She discovers that all of her preconceived notions of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East are misconceptions. She embarks on a journey of self- acceptance and finds true friendship, empowerment and a remarkable love story.

Ethnography is a qualitative research method, whereby researchers acknowledge their biases, remove them, and live experiences as a local. This approach is our methodology; this authenticity and honesty gets woven into every story we tell.
One of the first steps in ethnography is to acknowledge your own bias. When a researcher is gathering the data –otherwise known as field work –of a particular group, community, or in an uncontrolled setting, it is imperative that the researcher respects the daily lives of the people they are studying. According to John Brewer, the goal of the researcher is to impose the least amount of bias in the data collected (Brewer, 2000). Ethnography is a holistic approach in observing and studying people in their communities.
With cultural immersion at the forefront, ethnographers are interested in observing the lived experiences of the people and communities they study. Simply put, we are interested in exploring the everyday experiences of every day people.
Mercedes Cardella is an actress, author, singer, producer, educator and entrepreneur. She has been featured as a lead/principal actor in numerous short and feature films. Her recent on-screen work includes the short film titled Int'maa.Mercedes is slated to appear in Catherine Hernandez awared winning novel turned to feature film,"Scarborough". She is passionate about cultures, traditions and belief systems that bring humanity into greater proximity to one another. Mercedes' passion for film and storytelling allows her to learn and connect with people in their natural element, and to bring their unique and meaningful experiences to life on screen.
